TTS / BUYER DECISIONS
Using inspection report evidence for a shipment decision
Trace a report conclusion to its order, inspection conditions, findings and photographs. Use public examples to agree the records you need for your own order.

Five questions to ask when reading a report
| Question | Record to check | Decision limit |
|---|---|---|
| Does this report match the shipment? | Order, factory, models, lot, date and quantity | A report for another lot cannot cover the intended shipment |
| What was actually accessible? | Completed and packed quantities, sample population and site limits | Unavailable goods and omitted checks need separate treatment |
| What criteria governed the result? | Specification revision, sampling plan, defect classes and acceptance numbers | An example AQL is not a universal setting |
| Do findings have supporting evidence? | Measurements, methods, sample size, defect counts and matching photos | A pass label or photo alone may not resolve a missing requirement |
| Who reviewed and decided? | Review/approval fields, delivery version, open items and authorized buyer decision | Inspection supports the decision within the agreed scope |
Read the public extracts in context
The linked TTSQC guide identifies two anonymized real report pages: a workmanship and special-check page, and photographs of a green textile robe. It distinguishes the visible workmanship result from the full report conclusion and notes missing measurement-table context. Use that distinction when requesting a complete deliverable for your product.

Turn missing evidence into a follow-up request
List each missing record or unresolved finding, its owner, due date and verification method. Confirm whether clarification, corrective work or reinspection is needed before shipment. Agree any laboratory, certification or regulatory evidence separately for the product and destination.
