Select the regulation and scheme before collecting certificates.
A product intended for Russia or another EAEU market needs an assessment of the applicable technical regulations and the appropriate conformity route. EAC support begins with product classification, intended use, shipment or production arrangements and available evidence. TTS helps coordinate a project-specific document checklist and the agreed application steps. Certification and declaration are distinct routes; the correct option cannot be selected from the product name alone. Confirming the route, applicant and required assessment participants early helps avoid preparing documents for the wrong scope.
What to check in the evidence
Classification and intended use
Describe the product, function, technical characteristics, model variants and destination. Supply available customs-classification information for review.
Why it matters
A trade name or tariff code alone should not be treated as the complete technical-regulation assessment.
Applicable technical regulations
Identify all relevant TR CU/TR EAEU requirements and whether the product is covered by certification, declaration or another applicable route.
Why it matters
One product may involve more than one regulation. Existing CE evidence does not automatically settle EAEU conformity.
Applicant and supply scheme
Clarify manufacturer, applicant, batch or serial-production arrangement and the authorised assessment participants needed.
Why it matters
The scheme influences the evidence and possible assessment steps; it should be agreed before sample dispatch or application preparation.
Technical and application records
Align model identifiers, technical specifications, manuals, labels, test evidence and the agreed application information.
Why it matters
Differences between the marketed product and the submitted documents can require correction or additional evidence.
An illustrative scenario
A model family contains materially different configurations.
Illustrative example: an exporter groups several machines under one commercial series, but their functions and electrical configurations differ. Prepare a model comparison and identify the technical differences before determining document coverage. A shared series name does not establish that one test report or conformity document covers every configuration.
Prepare these before the next step
- Product models, technical description, intended use and destination country.
- Manufacturer and proposed applicant details, shipment or series-production information.
- Drawings, specifications, manuals and available test or conformity documents.
The output clarifies the agreed route, evidence requirements and coordination steps. Final assessment and registration responsibilities depend on the applicable scheme and authorised participants; support is not a guarantee of approval.
