01Classification and intended use
Describe the product, function, technical characteristics, model variants and destination. Supply available customs-classification information for review.
A trade name or tariff code alone should not be treated as the complete technical-regulation assessment.
02Applicable technical regulations
Identify all relevant TR CU/TR EAEU requirements and whether the product is covered by certification, declaration or another applicable route.
One product may involve more than one regulation. Existing CE evidence does not automatically settle EAEU conformity.
03Applicant and supply scheme
Clarify manufacturer, applicant, batch or serial-production arrangement and the authorised assessment participants needed.
The scheme influences the evidence and possible assessment steps; it should be agreed before sample dispatch or application preparation.
04Technical and application records
Align model identifiers, technical specifications, manuals, labels, test evidence and the agreed application information.
Differences between the marketed product and the submitted documents can require correction or additional evidence.

Prepare a model comparison and identify the technical differences before determining document coverage. A shared series name does not establish that one test report or conformity document covers every configuration.

Practical questions
What is the difference between an EAC certificate and a declaration?
They are different conformity routes with different responsibilities and evidence arrangements. The applicable technical regulation and scheme determine which is required.
Can I use the same dossier prepared for CE marking?
Relevant technical information can be reviewed and reused where accepted, but the EAEU route, applicant, language and evidence requirements must be assessed separately.
Can a CE report automatically replace EAC assessment?
No. Existing evidence may be reviewed, but the applicable EAEU requirements and the confirmed assessment route determine what can be used and what is still required.
