Freeze the configuration
Match the model, firmware, power supply, accessories and packaging to the purchase order. Record relevant serial or batch numbers. A replacement adapter or software revision can alter performance or the scope of earlier test evidence, even if the outer housing looks identical.
Make functions reproducible
Describe each operating mode, connection, accessory and expected result. Record equipment and conditions for charging, connectivity, display or sensor checks. Keep a failed step visible instead of replacing it with a successful repeat; document the repeat separately and explain any changed condition.
Agree the safety-test scope
Electrical checks require competent personnel, suitable equipment and the applicable product method. Do not apply one voltage or current limit to all devices. If a required check cannot be performed, record the limitation and arrange suitable laboratory work. Inspection evidence does not by itself complete CE, FCC or battery-transport obligations.
