What the evidence needs to show

  • The CB report records construction, critical parts, data and photos
  • National differences, plugs/voltage, language, labels and local representation remain
  • Coverage is limited by model family and critical configuration

Build the evidence in this order

  1. Select IEC standard and NCB/CBTL
  2. Confirm models, critical parts and target countries
  3. Complete CB type testing and review
  4. Use CB evidence for national applications and delta tests

Common misunderstandings

  • A CB certificate alone is generally not retail authorisation in the target country
  • Product changes may require CB-report or national-certificate updates
