What the evidence needs to show

  • A local responsible supplier generally registers in the relevant database
  • The compliance folder links tests, standards, declaration and models
  • Electrical safety and EMC/radio can apply together

Build the evidence in this order

  1. Confirm product, risk level and local supplier
  2. Identify EESS, ACMA and standards
  3. Complete accepted evidence and registration
  4. Sign declaration and apply RCM

Common misunderstandings

  • RCM is not automatically “issued” by a laboratory after a test
  • The responsible supplier must produce complete compliance records on request
