What the evidence needs to show
- Confirm the Japanese responsible supplier and category first
- Technical compliance, self-inspection and records are ongoing duties
- Specified products require conformity assessment by a registered CAB

- Confirm listed item and category
- Assign Japanese importer/manufacturer responsibility
- Complete testing, CAB assessment or self-inspection

Common misunderstandings
- Acceptance of overseas reports depends on methods, laboratory and responsible-supplier review
- Testing alone generally cannot complete PSE duties without a Japanese responsible supplier
