Match the contracting entity, manufacturing address and proposed processes. Record outsourced operations and the evidence needed to assess them. Evaluate representative samples against your specification and check whether demonstrated capacity is available for your order, rather than relying on a company profile alone.
Agree the operating rules
Confirm the specification revision, defect catalogue, sampling plan, required tests, packing artwork and change-approval process. Name the factory and buyer contacts who can resolve questions. Keep written decisions accessible to the production and inspection teams so an earlier agreement is not lost at handover.
Use the first order to test the system
Choose a trial scope and inspection timing that reflect product risk and production readiness. Track questions, deviations and response quality throughout the order.
